5. Customer Data and Our Role as a Processor
Wabel's business customers may use the Service to communicate with their own customers, leads, employees, or other individuals. In these circumstances, the business customer generally determines why and how the relevant personal data is processed. Depending on the applicable data protection law and the specific relationship, the customer may act as the Controller, while Wabel may act as a Processor processing personal data on the customer's behalf and according to the customer's instructions. Such data may include telephone numbers, names, call recordings, transcripts, summaries, messages, chat content, and other information submitted or generated through the Service. Our business customers are responsible for ensuring that they have an appropriate legal basis and any required notices, permissions, consents, or other authorizations necessary to collect and process such data and to use the Service for those purposes.
